Reagan E. Prather is an Associate Attorney with McDonald Law Firm, LLC, where she helps individuals and families navigate the estate planning process with confidence and clarity. Reagan joined the firm in September 2026 and brings experience in estate planning, estate administration, and special needs planning.

Having personally experienced the challenges that can follow a poorly structured estate plan, Reagan understands the importance of thoughtful planning and trusted guidance. She works closely with clients to develop customized strategies that reflect their goals, values, family circumstances, and long-term priorities.

Known for her warm, empathetic, and practical approach, Reagan guides clients through decisions that can feel personal, emotional, and complex. She strives to make the planning process accessible and understandable, ensuring that clients leave with a clear understanding of their estate plan and confidence in the decisions they have made.

Reagan earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 2023. She received her Bachelor of Science in Publishing, with a minor in Public Relations, from Belmont University.

Reagan is licensed to practice law in Maryland and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association.

Reagan resides in Howard County with her puppy, Nori, and her two kittens, Emmy and Ellie. Outside the office, she enjoys exploring hiking trails in Virginia with her partner and volunteering at her local library.
